So here’s me just taking a moment to thank God for all the countless blessings in my life. I am truly a blessed girl – and my blessings are all the more priceless because it’s all from the One above. I can truly say all that is in my life is from God alone, and what was not from God has been removed from my life. Glory to God for His goodness.

Here’s a song that I sang on 1st Jan 2013, and this year on 1st Jan 2014 – I couldn’t help but think that God truly worked this song out in my life. God revived me, God breathed back life into me, God has removed all the unwanted elements from my life, God has made me whole (not by the worldly standards but by His standards).

This year I have been tempted, rejected, hurt, angered, betrayed, humiliated, bad mouthed – but you know what this year I have also been able to overcome temptation by His grace, seen how I am accepted by Him and His, nurtured by Him, consoled by Him, assured of His and my dear ones devotion to me, been promoted in my job and most importantly I have been loved. So 2013 was a blessed year for me, it has been a year that defines the quote ‘I have held many things in my hands, and I have lost them all; but whatever I have placed in God’s hands, that I still possess.’

And I feel 2014 is going to be a miraculous year for me and my family, because God’s ways and purpose is going to be revealed in my life. Amen and Amen.

Update: 29 December 2022 – 8 years later. I can testify 2015 was a year of God personally reviving me, reawakening me and restoring me into His new for me, then and now and for ever more, all for His glory. Praise Him praise Him praise Him.
