The Right Ingredients
As a baker, I know that I could have all the right ingredients put together, but unless its prepared using the right measure of ingredients and mixed to the right consistency, it will not be the cake I aspire for.
I could dump all the right ingredients in the right measure but if I don’t mix it well, if I don’t beat out the lumps, clear the air bubbles, and then put it in the oven, my cake may come out bad or simply mediocre.
If on the other hand, I do it right, I give it time, I wait till I know its the right time, the cake would be perfection.
God is the baker, my life experiences form the ingredients, and the cake is my life. If I let God take control and mix it all up, toss me around in life, make me wait, leave my life in chaos – whatever it takes – He will make life a beautiful thing.
Key is I need to trust that He knows what’s He’s doing. Then this cake, which is my life, will be the best!”
