So I have heard this song before but didn’t really listen to it much. But then one of my dear, beautiful best friends from US told me to listen to it because apparently whenever she heard it she thought of me. So I went and listened to the song again and I have to say that is possibly one of the nicest things ever said to me!
Honestly, since then the song is like a background score in my head. Every time something upsets me, I hear “You’re an overcomer, Stay in the fight ‘til the final round. You’re not going under, ‘Cause God is holding you right now. You might be down for a moment ,Feeling like it’s hopeless, That’s when He reminds You, That you’re an overcomer You’re an overcomer!”. Amazing feeling that!
So grateful, so humbled, it is true, I am an overcomer, God helped me through it all. So thankful.
