Sharing this image which captures few words from the song ‘Forever Reign’.

A repeated phrase in this song is ‘You are’. And it strikes me that those two words are in itself so powerful.

Life does not go as we imagine, sometimes life becomes a nightmare and we wish someone would wake us up. We often can’t explain our circumstance to our selves and so all we can do is pick up the pieces and try to rebuild our lives and trust in God.

But rest assured, even if nothing else remains, He is there. So no matter what happens keep telling God “You are”, because He is by your side.

On a personal note, I am so grateful to God because no matter how uncertain my future looks, each and every day He gives me something to smile about, something to be thankful for. And that is no small deal, it’s so blessed to know that despite it all, He does not let me go.

An ordinary girl living an ordinary life, living out in the rhythms of grace in God's extraordinary love! A few years ago I'd have thought that by this age I'd know it all.. but I don't. What I do know is that the grace of God has been a blanket over my life, and I hope that through this blog I can share bits of it with you too..God bless! P.S: Abigail is my pen name, but it's actually much more to me now - God called me by this name in my heart in my past and He told me that I would be like the biblical Abigail. Then I used to wonder what I could possibly have in common with her. But now, I know. Of late, God has taught me that I have passed through the past of Abigail, overcome the Nabal. Now I must find the Ruth in me, the one who got beyond every cross of her past, and lived faithfully to a life of God ordained destiny!

  2. So well put! We really need a religious/spiritual ingredient in our lives in order to gain the fullest of health and improvement. God, through Christ, is my Leader and I feel best to stay with Him. Thank you for your words of faith…

      1. We live and die by His very wish. That’s not something a lot of the world likes to hear or subscribes to. But, then again, throughout history, it never was!

        But denial never drowns out the truth. That is a fact where self-improvement is concerned, as well as the whole of life.

        Continue to walk with Him, as I will.
