Lesson 1: God never disappoints you, man will disappoint you but not God – you disappoint yourself by wanting something is not God’s will, man disappoints you by doing something perhaps that caters to their needs alone but God when he does something it’s never for his benefit, it is only for you and you alone. I have seen it time and time again in my life. so many times I take a look at my life and think of something better that I could have gotten, of course I always end up realizing just how lucky I am. It’s not that I have gotten the all time best as in not everyone may think it the best but truth is I know in my heart a gut feeling that God thought it all through. The only thing is sometimes I have to convince myself and get rid of the doubt.Doubt – obviously, this is brought on by Satan, and I’m sure that is a weapon he uses very diligently. But by the grace of God, I believe I will not fall to it. Well, maybe a stumble or two here and there but I know my God will bring me back to my feet as He always does.
Seriously, I’m sure everyone has gone through that phase where you wonder “Did i really want to be here?? If I done that differently, would I have been better off? Did I really make the right choice“. Ohh yeah, definitely it’s gone through your head and I’m also sure that most of the time you end up on that particular day/night with no answer. it’s maybe a few days/weeks later and something, need not be something spectacular but maybe something really small lets you know that God did good – He knew what He was doing. You realize that what you have is exactly what you need, maybe not what you dreamed of but you really need and it’s the belief that every doubtful moment in my life will have that wonderful moment of the truth coming to my eyes – that is what keeps me going.
So, if anyone is going through a bad patch in life, if you’re wondering what’s going on in your life remember that our God, my God is the way, the truth and the life and that nothing in your life happens without your knowledge. Abba Father loves you and knows exactly what you need. Amen.
